We spent Saturday night in Macau, celebrating Kam's recent 40th birthday. Kam, Andrew, Ming and I also took the chance to jump off the Macau tower - the world's highest bungy jump! This is Kam's third bungy jump, so he was the cool customer among the group. I think it's fair to say the other three of us were pretty scared before the jump.
It was another first for Grace & me, the first time we've both been away from Sarah & Emma overnight. When we got home on Sunday, Emma gave us a brief welcome glance before returning to watch TV, Sarah asked if we could stay away another night because she was having so much fun with Ching-Ching looking after them, and then they both went off to a friend's house to play. So much for the trauma of being separated from their parents then...
Here's the jump. The big surprise for me was my scream. A few days before, I'd wondered if I'd shout anything, and then what would be a good thing to shout out. In the event it took care of itself - Waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh
Featuring William & Ling's wedding, hikers in the mist, plus Sarah & Emma.
It's Chinese New Year, the start of the Year of the Ox. We wish you a happy and healthy year, and hope you'll enjoy these New Year songs from Sarah and Emma:
BONUS FEATURE: At the moment, the girls' favourite film is Mama Mia, as you can see:
OUTTAKES: In best Jackie Chan style, the clips that didn't make the movie, but were too good to throw away:
At the start of the month it was Sarah's turn at the regular weekly performance. She was helped by Wai-Kei, then Cheuk-Wan and Wai-Tai were next up.
The next week, Emma's K1 class entertained us with some Christmas songs:
Then on the last day of term there was the Christmas show, followed by a party. It was a family affair, with David getting up on stage as well, dressed as Santa:
